Greek Goddesses Scarf
Our exclusive design features Athena, Aphrodite, and Artemis, Hera, and Nike. Each image is based on a different red-figure vase. For example, you may recognize Artemis from the Niobid Painter's vase in the Louvre (c. 460 B.C.).
Athena wears her famous aegis; Artemis (Diana) is shown with bow and quiver; Hera, queen of the gods, is show wearing a crown and carrying a scepter; Nike, goddess of victory, is depicted with her characteristic wings; and Aphrodite (Venus) holds a small Eros. The palmetto and Greek key patterns further echo the motifs of Classical Greek art.
